swipha was established in 1976 and has over 365 well motivated and dedicated employees. We supply drugs to Federal Ministry of Health, State Governments, Parastatals and Private Market. All our products are subject to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) for Quality Control.
   
We also distribute  the products of the following companies: F. Hoffmann-La Roche Limited, Basel, Switzerland, BAYER Health Care, Basel, Switzerland, BIO-STRATH AG, Zuerich, Switzerland.

The company is always trying to introduce products which are not yet in the Nigerian Market and also to find new methods to sell. To attain this objective, we have on ground 4 tiers of sales force staff.
 
FIELD FORCE STRUCTURE 
   
swipha has a unique Sales Structure to maintain contacts with the customers. The Field Force is over 50 in number grouped according to areas. We have seven Areas viz: Lagos I, Lagos II, East I, East II, North I, North II and West.

This we have been able to achieve being the only ISO 9001: 2000 Certified Pharmaceutical Company in Nigeria. This feat is a demonstration of our ability to meet the needs and expectations of all stakeholders consistently through the deployment of the “quality function” in all the Company’s operations. For us, the principle of continual improvement is strategic to all we do, thus, the establishment of a Quality Management System of International repute.
 
QUALITY 
   
The primary concern of any company or organization is the provision of quality products or services. In swipha, “Quality” is something that comes naturally and the Quality Department acts as a partner on the route to quality products and services.
 
Being an ISO 9001:2000 certified company the attendant objectives and quality concepts are what the department upholds. There is a school of thought, which believes that “Quality is a never ending journey to success; and nothing is too good that it cannot be improved upon”. It is upon this fact that the department has been working relentlessly to maintain the quality of our products. Our technically equipped and highly mobilized work force has imbibed this restless commitment to quality as is evident in all the units of the department.
 
Presently, the department boasts of sophisticated state-of-the-art equipment in both microbiological and chemical analyses units.
